Great defense, a relentless full court press, and good hustle got the Mustangs off to a 22-0 lead against an over matched Loveland Tigers team. This lead to our 6th win in a row and improved our record to 8-2 in the league, 13-2 overall. Great work guys!
This move into the athletic league has been great. There is no doubt that overall, we have faced much better competition yet the boys have handled it fabulous. My goal going in was to just be competitive while allowing the kids to face better competition and improve their games. Both are happening before our eyes. I truly believe that every player has improved this year.
Jack lead the scoring with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Adam had 12 points and 4 rebounds. Rohan had another strong game with 4 rebounds and 4 points. Max and Patrick both added 2 points.
We are off next weekend so our next game is Saturday, February 12 at Milford Jr High. Enjoy your Super Bowl weekend with no basketball. And while we're talking about the Super Bowl.....please root against the Squeelers....please!! I am officially a Packer fan until next Monday!
